“They’re a nonprofit!?!”
“Yup! 501(c)3”
Mission || Doing what we love (music) to undo what we hate (slavery.) JUBILEE is a collective of abolitionists/musicians who use the stage and merchandise table to raise awareness and funds to fight modern slavery and support those recovering from it’s effects. Music has made our lives better, we hope that our music can improve the lives of others.
We are a mouthpiece for the 27 million under the bondage of modern slavery - making the hope of injustice around the world known to our listeners.
We’re partnered with International Justice Mission, who has created a blueprint to end slavery in our lifetime. The two main barriers are lack of awareness, and lack of resources. JUBILEE provides both. By hosting/attending a concert or supporting the band through donations/album purchases, you're making a difference. Thank you!
Nonprofit Business Model || Seattle-based JUBILEE is officially registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This means that 50% of merchandise sales (CD, T-shirts, stickers etc.) and 10% of all booking fees are donated to a cause that meets the US Federal Government’s guidelines for charitable causes - fighting modern slavery and supporting those recovering from it’s horrors.
